Meet Akaash.
At Redwood, treatment starts with listening. The aim is to understand what you want from the session, assess the areas that need attention and choose a treatment approach that is appropriate for you.
Understand what you want from the session before treatment begins.
Consider movement, treatment areas, comfort and suitability.
Choose techniques because they fit the client, not because they are on a checklist.
Treatment should feel considered, not automatic.
No two sessions need to look exactly the same. Treatment is selected around your goals, comfort, presentation and suitability rather than following a fixed routine.
Training that informs the work.
The practitioner is a Level 4 Sports Recovery Therapist and has also undertaken training through Limetree Clinic Institute, helping shape a considered, assessment-led approach to sports massage, cupping and recovery-focused treatment.
Sports massage, cupping, Hijama and recovery techniques are selected according to the individual session and suitability.
A clear process from conversation to aftercare.
Conversation
Start with what is bringing you in, what you want from the appointment and anything relevant to treatment.
Assessment
Look at the treatment area, movement and suitability so the session has a clear direction.
Treatment
Apply an appropriate treatment approach with communication around pressure, comfort and what is being done.
Aftercare
Finish with practical guidance and a clear understanding of what to expect after the session.
Comfort, clarity and appropriate care matter.
Redwood is designed to feel calm, private and professional. Treatment decisions are explained, client comfort is respected, and techniques are adapted or avoided when they are not appropriate.
Relevant health information and treatment goals are considered before hands-on work begins.
Wet cupping uses sterile, single-use equipment with hygiene and aftercare built into the appointment.
Redwood does not replace medical diagnosis. Concerning, unexplained or unsuitable presentations should be assessed appropriately.
Pressure, positioning and treatment choices can be discussed throughout the session.
